1. Updating
SO.TU.LUB. is one of the first enterprises to be
engaged in the national industrial updating program
since its start-up. It has found through it an opportunity
for succeeding its development and ensuring its
perenniality and its competitiveness. The program
it has set up is spread over five years and will
be over in late 2002 for a total cost of 7.701 MDT
that is 5 267 M US$ in material and immaterial investments,
92% of them have been realized in late December
2001, 4.5 % are in process and 3 % are still non
engaged up to this date.
2. Quality
The quality policy of SO.TU.LUB is an approach aiming
the total satisfaction of its customers for its
products as well as for its know-how. After having
obtained the ISO 9002 certification, version 1994
for its used oils regeneration and used oils marketing
activity, SO.TU.LUB started to implant a quality
management system in pursuance to ISO 9001 Standard,
version 2000 that covers its two main activities,
that is the regeneration of used oils and manufacture
of greases.
Always faithful to its main vocation as an operator
for the profit of the environment, SO.TU.LUB. has
also committed to settle an environment management
system (SME) according to ISO 14001 standard.
In its concern of a permanent amelioration of its
products and services quality, SOTULUB, led by a
coherent and global quality approach, has also forecast
to put a plan with the goal of accrediting its head
office lab and the plant’s one according to the
international standard EN 45000.
